An innovative system for customers to manage their printer inks

Inkwell is a revolutionary product from Silicon Alley, an established IT company based in Essex. Inkwell provides a unique and fresh approach to ink and toner management.

A key aspect of the Inkwell success is their online system, which enables their customers to submit their current stock levels and request additional stock. Each customer is provided with their own individual ‘store’ which displays all of their stock items. Every month the customers submit a stock account, which provides Silicon Alley with the number of items that needs to be sent to them.

The system stores a concise history of customer’s stock levels, which is very useful for both the customer and management team.

Email is a key aspect of the Top Up My Toner online system, sending reminders, stock counts and top up requests. We ensure email is consistently and reliably delivered through the use of the Postmark API – we can detect if each email has been delivered and read.
